Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy reveals to Entertainment Weekly that Glee will feature the "Alejandro" singer's upcoming single, in an episode of its upcoming season, tentatively slated to air in March or April. The song, which is also the title track of Gaga's upcoming album, will be featured in an episode that centers around McKinnley High's resident closeted gay bully, Dave Karofsky. Murphy spills,
"I love that that song is [an] anthem. This show is by nature optimistic and I think a character like Karofsky could turn to booze or pills or alcohol and kill themselves or do something dark. But I also love Max [Adler, who plays Karofsky] and I love that character and I sorta want that character to have a happy ending. So I don't really know what that's going to be, but I do know we're going to do a whole episode that's about that song."
The music of Gaga, a staunch advocate of gay rights, was last featured on Glee last May, when the cast performed "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face."
